Ludacris Reports Mercedes-Benz Stolen During Atlanta ATM Stop

Ludacris reported his Mercedes-Benz stolen at an ATM in Atlanta on Monday afternoon (January 25).

Authorities are on the lookout for the culprit who carjacked the famous rapper and actor, also known as Chris Bridges.

Ludacris apparently caught the attention of police around 4:40 p.m. and reported that while he was at the ATM, he heard someone speed away in his black Mercedes-Benz. He didn’t get a good look at the suspect, according to 11Alive. It was not immediately clear where the carjacking took place.

Police electronically tracked a possible location of the rapper’s vehicle in northwest Atlanta. Though they found other, unspecified items belonging to Ludacris there, but did not recover the Mercedes-Benz at that location. The car was recovered, with no one in it, at the 1270 Spring Street parking deck in Midtown Atlanta and returned to Ludacris, according to 11Alive. It was not immediately clear who stole the vehicle.

Atlanta police are also warning the public not to leave their cars running while unattended, including during stops at ATMs.

During the first week of January, nearly 100 vehicles were stolen in the Atlanta area, 11Alive noted. Seventy-six of those vehicles were left running or had keys inside and accessible.
