Keith Lee, who's become a viral sensation on TikTok for his food content, teamed up with Good Morning America to surprise a Brooklyn bakery owner with $10,000.

On Thursday (January 26), Lee and GMA gifted $10,000 to the owner of Bakery on Bergen, Akim Vann, in an effort to bring awareness and reinvigorate her small business in Brooklyn, New York.

Vann launched her business eight years ago with the goals of investing back into her community and serving as a role model to the youth.

"My mom really took leadership into her own hands in terms of curating a space that wasn't just for her," Vann's son, Chi Osse, told GMA.

Anita Bushell, Vann's friend, said the small business owner used "her extraordinary math skills" to "set up this additional kind of framework within the bakery, where she tutors students and works as a student coach."

"More people need to see women, women of color, single women, mothers that are doing things that are unique to themselves," Dawn Siciliani.

When Lee visited Vann's bakery earlier this week, she had no idea that she would later be surprised with thousands of dollars.

"Your customer service was through the roof and you had no idea who I was," Lee told Vann on Thursday, noting that her green tea latte and sea salt chocolate chip cookie were the best he's eaten.

Vann was ecstatic when Keith and GMA presented Vann with the $10,000 check from Duncan Hines.

"Shut up," she said with a huge smile. "Oh my gosh, thank you so much."
