A white woman was caught on camera following a Black man whom she falsely accused of carrying a gun and terrorizing her neighborhood.
In a now-viral video shared on TikTok, the Black man was walking down a wooded path in a Virginia public park when a white woman accused him of wielding a gun and "f***ing with people on our block."
The woman was initially yelling at the man from a distance, but she eventually closed in on him and confronted him face-to-face.
“Don’t play with me,” she said before commanding the man to “Come here!” and referring to him as a “little boy.”
The woman also accused the man of threatening a mother and daughter with a gun in the neighborhood.
“Please stop,” the man said, appearing shaken and confused.
The pair continued walking to a baseball field, where the woman suggested that she was going to "call the police" on the man.
The man attempted to get help from bystanders, saying the woman was "racially discriminating" against him, but onlookers didn't intervene. The woman then declared that one of the bystanders had video of him in their neighborhood.
"Just a few minutes of being a Black man in Virginia," the man captioned video of the encounter.
TikTok users slammed the woman's behavior, calling out her false accusations and apparent mistaken identity.
“She obviously thinks all Blacks look alike,” one user said.
"If he had a gun why would she be walking up on him?" another person wrote.
"This is calculated and dangerous," a third user commented.
The victim addressed commentators who suggested he fight back against the woman's aggression.
“For all the people saying I should’ve dim sum, I’m 6’3” 190 in an entirely white neighborhood. I would’ve been the aggressor. Things might’ve been worse for me," he wrote.
